TLK 2011 Disney Store Plush

These are all from the Disney Store and are part of The Lion King 3D theatrical re-release in October 2011.

All of these feature the very, very short fur that is common to the plush that the Disney Store is currently producing. Longer fur is used only when completely necessary (Rafiki's hair, the lion manes). All features are embroidered. I do miss the longer fur of the 90s plush but I think that the shorter, more pliable and workable material used today, along with the embroidered features, allows for far more detailed plushies that actually look like the characters they represent. For whatever reason, the exception to this was the full-size Timon, so I got the smaller Timon beanie instead; he's also a better match for the set size-wise.
